Digital Imprints Owned by Big 5 Publishers Accept Genre Fiction

If you’re an unpublished genre writer, check out the digital imprints owned by Big Five publishers for submission opportunities.

Four imprints owned by Penguin Random House and one imprint owned by St. Martin’s Press are seeking manuscripts in these genres: romance, mystery and thrillers, science fiction, fantasy, and horror.

Random House Digital Imprints

The following Random House “e-originals” imprints are open to submissions:

Alibi specializes in mysteries and thrillers.

Flirt is looking for “provocative, edgy, and compelling new adult romances.”

Loveswept wants “passionate, heartfelt romances spanning all genres, from historical to contemporary.”

Hydra focuses on science fiction, fantasy, and horror.

St. Martin’s Digital-First Imprint

St. Martin’s Press is owned by Big Five publisher Macmillan. Swerve, St. Martin’s digital-first division, is interested in all subgenres of romance. Both agented and unagented authors are welcome to submit unpublished manuscripts.
